Finding Jesus in my every day life

There has been many days during my lifetime where I wondered "How will I make it through this day?" Struggling at times to pull myself out of a funk and to keep myself moving forward. What it took me so long to figure out was God was always taking those steps with me, sure I read the "Footprints in the Sand" poem, and I always connected with the thought that there were many times that Jesus carried me.

But, I also knew that there was a piece missing in every day life. God gave me direction and showed me where to go to get fed the word. I will never forget the first time I walked into Rutherford Bible Chapel, alone, God showed me where I needed to be. He has blessed me in so many ways since that day, I find comfort, joy, peace and a hunger for learning all I can about the Bible. I enjoy reading the story about Jesus and how he came to this earth to save me, to save you. Rutherford Bible Chapel has been an answer to my prayers and through Sunday services, Bible Study and the community of members I am growing more each day. There is just so much to learn and putting Jesus at the center of my every day life is where I start.

I encourage you to listen, truly listen, and the Lord will speak to you too. I am his child and so are you! "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?" Luke 15:4 I'm rejoicing that Jesus was calling me and I heard him! He's calling you too, I promise!!
