RBC CONNECT

A Journey of Spiritual Formation

Spiritual formation is the journey of becoming more like Christ, growing in love for God and neighbor in every part of life. You have been called by name. Your life has a unique, God-given meaning. Your unrepeatable life matters.

God's Desire for Us

  • Become more Christlike

  • Live faithfully in community

  • Make a tangible impact for Christ

Listen - Discern - Follow

Transformation is more than outward practice—it’s about listening for God’s voice, discerning His call, and stepping into His will. Spiritual formation helps us notice God’s movements within, clarifying not only what He calls us to do but who He calls us to become.

Participant Reflections

“RBC Connect is unlike anything I’ve done in the past. While some aspects are familiar, this program takes relationship with God and people to another level. I’ve found myself defaulting to some of the exercises when I feel overwhelmed or anxious and they have helped me tremendously, putting my mind and heart at ease. The retreats leave me feeling refreshed. They are a good balance of connection with one another, solitude with God and learning."

"RBC Connect has deepened both my walk with Jesus and my marriage. The curriculum has been inviting, encouraging, and full of unexpected lessons that were exactly what I needed, definitely a commitment worth making!”

“In this very loud, busy and chaotic world, I have found RBC Connect to truly be a blessing. It has given me the space for quiet time with the Lord while being amongst believers who also want to know His heart. It allows time for true fellowship that an hour on a Sunday does not. I feel like it’s one of those things where you may regret it if you don’t do it but you certainly won’t regret it if you do.”

“I have really enjoyed the retreats. To be able to intentionally take time away to really focus on God has been a real blessing.”

“Journeying through RBC Connect with others is helping me become confident and discerning in what God is calling me to do, and has deepened my understanding and appreciation of the unique ways He has created me. It has also indirectly simplified my choices about how I spend my time.”

“I have been a believer for a long time and it is important for me to keep my faith alive and growing. RBC Connect has reminded me of the tools I already have and to think about new ones that help me do this. One of my favorites was creating a ‘Rule of Life,’ which helps me honor God, others, and myself rather than being sidetracked by the tyranny of the urgent.”

“What has impacted me most is the fellowship with other believers from all walks of life. RBC Connect has provided intimacy of prayer when I needed it and wisdom from others. The retreats have been very enjoyable and provided a lot of time for self-reflection.”

“RBC Connect has provided me with a unique set of tools to deepen my daily walk with Christ. It has moved my faith beyond solely intellectual pursuits into a vibrant, transforming relationship with my Savior, relying on God’s Spirit rather than my own strength.”
